JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As staff for the work operation, you will have direct contact with our clients in the prison's production.

In your daily contact with the inmates, your work will contribute to the clients' learning but also to helping them reflect on their situation.

After an introduction, you will be responsible for the daily operations as a production leader. You will plan, allocate tasks, and ensure that our deliveries are made on time. You will also participate in the production work yourself. Together with your colleagues, you will be responsible for production planning.

At Hinseberg, the role of a production leader is varied. We operate in industrial premises and are also responsible for unloading and loading goods. In the industrial premises, our main activities are assembly and packaging work for various companies. Quality control and maintenance of the work operation's premises/machines/stores are included in the job responsibilities. You will also contribute to maintaining safety in the prison through monitoring and searches. Administrative tasks are part of the daily work.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is secure, stable, and self-aware. You find it easy to collaborate with others and have well-founded and clear values. In stressful situations, you remain calm, stable, and controlled. You have the ability to make correct assessments and priorities. You have a good understanding of how people absorb knowledge and adapt your way of conveying messages based on the recipient's conditions. You should also have a physical condition that allows you to act physically if the situation requires it.

To thrive and succeed in your role, it is important that you share the Swedish Prison and Probation Service's fundamental values of a humane view of humanity, respect for the individual, and belief in the potential for human development. You are also aware of and understand how background, culture, and group affiliation affect yourself and others. We are looking for you who have:

• Completed upper secondary school education in the form of a diploma or high school degree (read more via the link under others)
• Work experience in production, assembly, and/or packaging
• Ability to express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish
• Driver's license (B)

It is an advantage if you have:

• Previous work experience within the Swedish Prison and Probation Service
• Experience in motivating others in their work
• Experience in customer interaction
• Forklift license
• Safety awareness regarding both work environment and client safety
• Knowledge of treatment work and understanding of the significance and role of the work in the inmates' execution
• Relevant language skills
